Be A Hero
Save limbs and lives with iCHOR’s simple-to-use clot removal system

System Overview
The iSWEEP Mechanical Thrombectomy System consists of 3 simple components: a control sheath, guide catheter, and rapid exchange balloon catheter.
Currently there are 2 devices in the iSWEEP family:Â The iART is a 7F system optimized for arterial clot removal and iDVT, a 14F system designed for venous clot removal.

The Control Sheath with Occlusion Balloon reduces the potential for distal embolization, anchors the system, and maintains access for multiple passes
The Guide Catheter features an expandable nitinol funnel designed to help maximize material removal
The Rapid Exchange Balloon Catheter with a compliant balloon utilizes a sweep method to retract clot into the nitinol funnel for removal. It features excellent pushablity and a tapered tip for enhanced trackability
iSWEEP Pipeline
iSWEEP is a platform endovascular line of products focused on converting tried-and-true surgical mechanisms of action into minimally invasive procedures. The company’s initial focus is on peripheral vascular occlusions of the lower extremities. Future potential platform expansion includes solutions to treat pulmonary embolisms, dialysis graft / fistula clots, as well as solutions for internal jugular / radial access.
The iSWEEP Mechanical Thrombectomy System is the first technology to convert the standard-of-care Fogarty® sweep technique into a minimally invasive endovascular procedure. Learn more in our article published in Endovascular Today.
How It Works

The funnel guide catheter is positioned just distal to the clot and the control sheath is deployed, helping to prevent distal embolism

Next, the rapid exchange balloon catheter is inserted, advanced and positioned just distal to the clot

Lastly, the compliant balloon catheter is deployed and retracted with light aspiration, sweeping the clot into the funneled guide catheter for removal
The iSWEEP system is designed to SIMPLIFY clot removal

All-in-one system does not require additional components, capital equipment, or lytics

Combination thrombectomy and embolic protection is a self-contained system

Control sheath provides continuous guidewire access throughout the procedure

Balloon sweep technique helps to avoid scarring, valve damage, and blood loss

Optimized to treat diverse clot morphology in both arterial and venous peripheral occlusions

Able to treat a wide range of vessel sizes from 4mm to 14mm

Control costs with limited inventory necessary
